All the odds~

i shud hav fukin knwon.

1. When did you start cosplaying?

I started dressing up as characters and going out in public when I was 4, but I technically started cosplaying when I was 13.

3. Do you still have pictures of it?

I do not have pictures of my first cosplay. However, it was Dio from Last Exile.

5. Hardest cosplay?

I’m going to say Zelda just because of the timeframe I had to do it in.

7. How many cosplays do you have planned?

For this year? Just two. I’d have more but I have to fly them over in a plane.

9. Who/what is your dream cosplay?

Oh gosh, Sheik from Zelda is definitely one of them. I also want to do some sort of Skyrim armor cosplay.

11. Are you embarrassed by any of your cosplays?

Only two, the one’s I did not make myself. The costumes theirselves were beautiful! However, getting complimented for something you didn’t make is a little embarrassing, especially after having to explain that to a person who is holding you in high regard.

Needless to say, I now make my own cosplays.

13. Do you prefered to cosplay animated characters or non-animated?

I do not have a preference. That is a weird question.

15. Have you done a mascot cosplay?

Roxas used to be my mascot cosplay, but I sure as heck do not cosplay him anymore.

17. Which do you like more? Sewing, prop making or wig styling?

Oh man… I’m going to have to say prop making, though all three are pretty amazing.

19. What was the hardest wig for you to style?

Axel from Kingdom Hearts. Good LORD. Here’s a picture of it.

21. Have you bought/commissioned a cosplay?

Yes, my first cosplay and my Organization XIII robe. Never again, though I respect people who make commissioned cosplays SO much.

23. What is your favorite prop?

Probably my portal gun! I paid nothing to make it (in fact a couple of neighbors helped me out cutting materials I found). Here’s a shitty picture of it!

25. Favorite costume?

Uhhh… I haven’t made it yet, but I have a feeling that my Blake Belladonna cosplay will be my favorite, if I like the whole thing as much as I love the boots I got for it.

27. Who do you consider to be cosplay masters/experts?

Oh gosh SavedChicken and CowButtCrunchies are two people I really up to when it comes to cosplay. I am SURE there are more, but those two came to mind immediately.

29. Who is/are your cosplay senpais?

Refer to above question.

31. What’s your least favorite?

My least favorite thing about cosplay is probably the shitty parts of the cosplay community. Every community has a corrupted part, but for something that brings so many people joy, and helps people make friends and share ideals and hobbies? The negative energy that sometimes comes up is super depressing.

I saw it first hand, I would like to never see it again.

Anonymous asked:

Has there ever been any sort of book or show that had such an impact on you that it changed the way you looked at life?

Oh hello! I heard about you anon~ I think you visited some friends of mine.

There have been a couple of things that I have read or watched that has changed my life, and therefore the way I look at things in my life. One of those things being Sailor Moon.

Not only was it my first anime, but it was the first female centric show I had ever watched. Not only did it show me that, yes, girls could be awesome, but Makoto in particular was one of the most amazing characters to me. I could relate with her a lot, and so I looked up to her and started to look at myself in a different light. My current self confidence didn’t stem from that, but it was definitely a start.

This is going to sound hilarious, and it’s not as life changing as the former, but another one of those first things was the Animorphs books. Not only did it open me up to thinking about fantasy books in a different way (besides being one of the first books without pictures that I read) and want to seek them out. That’s where my love of books began. I’m sure that I may have found something along the road of growing up, but not as early if I hadn’t found Animorphs.

iamcleverdammit asked:

A through E :v

Here we go!

A. If you could get away with one murder in your lifetime without any legal, social, or emotional repercussions, would you kill someone?

I definitely believe I would. There is one person in my life that I wanted to do that to since I was about 9. We’ll leave it at that.

B. What is your first thought when you receive a message on Tumblr, are you excited for the idea of someone from potentially the other side of the world wanting to talk to you or fearful that someone will criticize you?

I’m always really excited! Because I don’t get many. If I ever get negative asks I just ignore and delete them.

C. Have you ever looked down on someone because you thought your religious views were superior?

Uh, sort of? Not necessarily look down on someone. I try my hardest to keep an open mind and not judge someone on their religion, however, because I was forced into Mormonism I do tend to be really wary of Christian religions. I’m a Satanist, so I am very self-indulgent. I don’t like when people call me evil for putting myself before a stranger, and I tend to look down on that particular person and not the whole religion.

D. Would you rather know everything the universe has to offer but in exchange lose all emotions or remain the way you are now?

No way. I think that’s a poor exchange. I don’t have a yearning to know everything, but I have a yearning to learn everything. Which means the hard way, through experience. Besides, I like to laugh too much, and feel happy when I do.

E. If you could live and be healthy without sleeping or eating/drinking, which would you cut out of your life?

Sleeping. I love food way too much to cut it out of my life, hahah. A life without raw fish? Pizza? Sweets??? I do not think so my friends.

officialblueteam asked:

What wig did you use for your amazing Princess Bubblegum cosplay?

Hello dear! `w`

I actually shopped on Ebay for my wig, only because I needed it to be quite long and it would be expensive to order such a long wig from an American store.

The exact one that I purchased was this 48” hot pink wig. It’s actually a lot lighter than I wanted, so I picked up two Sharpies to add strips of deeper color. Those two makers were a fat magenta and a fine point boysenberry. The boysenberry I only used for the roots (and that was sparingly!) as it is a very dark color. I, however, did go crazy with the magenta.

Hope I helped! Good luck with your PB cosplay!

I would like to add that anyone using Sharpies on a wig should look up a way to prevent the ink from leaking from your wig if it gets wet. I had a touch of sweat on my arm and fwoop- pink everywhere.

Are you happy with where you are in life right now?

Yes and no. I’m content with my life right now, I do not regret anything. I still go on my convention vacations, and trips to california. But could my life be better? Of course. I’m workin’ on it.

Post the link if your current favorite song.

This one or this one.

Have you ever had to hug someone you didn’t want to?

Ugh yes. This is going to sound TERRIBLE, BUT… I married into an Italian/New Yorker family so when we say hello or goodbye we kiss and hug. There is one member of the family that I (and usually everyone else) really doesn’t want to do either to.

She’s…a little off. She believes she has a sixteen year-old body, and will overly gloat and be obnoxious. However, doesn’t take care of herself (so she looks a little like a coke addict), or her teeth (she smokes a lot). She is a little awkward to talk to as well…My favorite phrase that has come out of her is “Lamb is Chicken right?” or “Juicy rhymes with gossip”. I wish I could remember the stuff she’s said to my 2 year-old niece.

shuraiya replied to your photo: This is where I am tonight! It is very loud. It’s…

What is it!? Sounds exciting!!

It’s the world’s largest short film festival :’D It was founded in Australia yeeaars ago, but has grown huge ever since. The films were all fantastic (there were sixteen of them, all under or up to 7 minutes long), I had a great time. The crowd was kind of lame, and mostly rude, so I felt really bad for the special guest judges that were there (freaked out, really, I mean Toni Collette, Tony Maguire, and James Woods all sitting FEET above me).

L.P. played after the winner was chosen, and man. She and her bandmates are fantastic. Hearing her music and watching her perform is something entirely different. She’s not just standing up there, singing, but becomes a creature of rhythm and sound. She really feels it, and I loved seeing that.

I don’t think I would have ever gone if my friend hadn’t gotten tickets for me, but I’m so grateful she did.
